Jax Rula has been creating soft-sculpture dolls, from her studio in Waterloo, Ontario, since 2005. She shows at competitions throughout southern Ontario and won an award at the Canadian Doll Artists Association Celebrations 2009 competition.

Jax has been featured in several publications for her work including Art Doll Quarterly, Doll Collector Magazine and A Needle Pulling Thread.
